The Bungee Bridge

Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive in Kathmandu

Today, you arrive in Kathmandu and we transfer you to your hotel. Then, after arriving at the hotel you rest and rejuvenate and observe the locality. A member of Travel Nepal Now will brief about the itinerary on this same day.

Day 02

Sightseeing in Kathmandu city and Patan City

While our backside staff is busy making plans for the day ahead, we’d want to take advantage of the opportunity to tour the city and see some intriguing historical monuments. On this day, we’ll visit the world heritage sites of Swayambunath stupa, also known as a monkey temple, Basantapur Durbar Square, a historic royal courtyard, and Patan Durbar Square.

Day 03

Kathmandu - The Last Resort ( Bungee Jump Station)

Early in the morning, at 05:45 a.m. 3.5-hour bus ride along the Araniko Highway (Kathmandu-Tibet Border) roughly 100 kilometers from Kathmandu, just 12 kilometers from the Tibetan border. After you arrive, give a brief overview of the Bungee jump. You’ll leap from a 160-meter-wide steel suspension bridge over the Bhotekoshi River. After the bungee jump, you will have lunch at the resort and then drive back to Kathmandu, arriving around 8 p.m. in the evening, and spending the night at the hotel. (If the client wishes, we can add an extra night in a last-ditch effort and a rafting adventure on the Bhotekoshi River the next day.)

Day 04

Departure from Kathmandu

We will assist you in getting to the airport on time for your trip. We say our goodbyes for the time being with a sorrowful heart and anticipation of what we will see in the future.

Best Time for the adventure

The best time for the adventure is during the Spring and Autumn seasons. During this time of the year, the temperature is stable and anyone can travel here without any trouble. Similarly, the paths get good as it is not a rainy season. Furthermore, if you travel here during this time of the year then you will experience the biggest festivals in the country. Dashain and Tihar. Which will add value to your trip. It is very useful if you are an international tourist. Though you can participate in the activity at any time of year, the optimum months are September through May. During the months of December to January, the jump is only open four days a week, on Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday; however, from September to November, it is open every day except Monday.

It takes 3 hours to drive from Kathmandu to the exact location of Bungee jumping in Nepal. You will cross the Nepal-Tibet border via the Araniko highway, which is 12 kilometers long. You’ll arrive at the suspension bridge for the jump after passing the famed friendship bridge.
