Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Kathmandu (1,350m)

Today, you will arrive at Kathmandu. And, after arrival you will be transferred to the 3 star hotel in Kathmandu. Where our staff will give you a brief information about the trip.

Day 02

Visit Kathmandu

Today, all the trip management team of our company will be busy preparing for the trip. So, we will take this opportunity to visit Swayambunath; famous as monkey temple as well, Basantapur Durbar Square; an ancient palace courtyard, and Patan Durbar Square.

Day 03

Visit Bhaktapur city

The ancient city of Bhaktapur is located 14 kilometers east of Kathmandu. This city is a hidden gem and a pristine representation of medieval Nepal, with an elegant, antique courtyard.

The prehistoric Durbar square, with its 55 windows, the pagoda-style residences and temples, the pottery plaza, where people spend all day producing clay pottery, and the raw way of life are the city’s principal attractions. It is one of the most beautiful sites on the Nepal Photography tour, where we may spend a night in the midst of these centuries-old dwellings and customs, reliving the essence of medieval times.

Day 04

Drive to Bandipur

We travel to Bandipur after witnessing a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas and eating breakfast. Bandipur is around 150 kilometers west of Nagarkot.

Bandipur is a very rustic village from the ancient Silk Route era, and it is even more lovely because of its preserved ancient ambiance and the distant vista of Annapurna. It normally takes roughly 7 hours to drive, depending on traffic conditions.

Day 05

Drive to Pokhara

We travel to Pokhara, Nepal’s most scenic city, after sunrise, breakfast, and a short side trip through Bandipur. Pokhara, around 80 kilometers from Bandipur, is a lovely resort with near views of the Annapurna Massif mountains.

At around 3-4 hours, we arrive in Pokhara via a scenic highway carved out of lush green hills along one of the major streams. We freshen up and observe the edge of Fewa Lake after arriving at Pokhara.

Day 06

Fly Jomsom , Hike to Kagbeni

We should fly to Jomsom early in the morning because the afternoon flight is disrupted by strong winds. As we take off from Pokhara, we see gorgeous mountains in the Annapurna region and then beautiful dry countryside with the view of Nilgiri just outside the window. We gather our bags and put on our hiking boots as soon as we land.

We hike in practically flat desert areas; the hike is short and easy, and the mountains add to the beauty. We stroll along the banks of the Kali Gandaki till we reach Kagbeni, a fortress-like hamlet.

Day 07

Drive to Muktinath

After learning about the myths and customs of the Thakali, Kagbeni’s indigenous people, we drive uphill on an off-road track in a vehicle. We ascend a steep ascent just after Kagbeni and quickly notice thin air. The ambiance is enhanced by the presence of picturesque communities and buckwheat blossoms higher up.

When we arrive in Muktinath, we are greeted by religious concord; the Hindus’ holiest shrine is located in a town where the Bon religion is practiced. The priest is a Buddhist nun, and the majority of pilgrims are Hindus.

Day 08

Drive back to Jomsom

We board a van to Jomsom after spending the night in the tranquil environment of Muktinath. Jomsom is a fantastic site to spend the day if you want to see the afternoon wind bursts, the Nilgiri range of mountains, and perhaps stroll up to the monastery or go hiking.

Day 09

Fly Pokhara, explore the city

We can either start this day before daybreak by visiting Sarangkot and witnessing the sunrise or relax and begin late in the morning by enjoying the lake life after taking an early morning flight to Pokhara and arriving in 20 minutes.

Aside from the magical lakes and awe-inspiring mountains, Pokhara is a place of historical towns and temples. We’d also visit the famous Tal Barahi and Bindabasini shrines.

Day 10

Drive to Chitwan

We spend another day on the road, this time along with one of Nepal’s major highways, which runs beside significant streams. We drove 150 kilometers in over 5 hours on the highway.

Day 11

Jungle photography in Chitwan National Park

Today is an exciting day, and we are ready to take on the day. We go after breakfast for the Elephant Ride location, where we will ride through a beautiful green jungle and see some of the world’s rarest creatures in their most natural state.

As the day progresses, we travel to Budhi Rapti for canoeing, where we will see some of the largest Ghariyals and Crocodile lazing in the sun up close.

Before calling it a day, we’ll go to the elephant breeding center and enjoy a fantastic dinner and cultural program. Other fascinating sights include the Tiger Reserve, which is home to 700 species of wildlife and provides us with thousands of opportunities to photograph them.

Day 12

Drive to Kathmandu

We eat breakfast at 6:00 a.m. and leave for Kathmandu. The drive takes about 7 hours, passing through bends in beautiful green mountainous country and along major streams, with a few stops for snacks and lunch in between.

Day 13

Visit Patan City

Patan, also known as Lalipur, meaning beautiful, and it is the oldest and most beautiful of the three cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan.

Patan is now merely a suburb of Kathmandu’s metropolitan city, and one that is rarely visited by visitors. This site also has the best museum of the three, as well as the best prehistoric Malla dynasty display.

We recommend trying local dishes such dal bhat (lentil stew with rice and curried potatoes or meat), boiling potatoes with chili sauce, local stew (meat, potatoes, and veggies in a rich sauce), and curry with rice. These are the local people’s primary dishes, but every resort will also serve a variety of western meals
