Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu

You arrive in Kathmandu on this day, and we transfer you to your accommodation. After checking into the hotel, you relax and recuperate while taking in the sights. On the same day, a member of Travel Nepal Now will give a briefing on the itinerary.

Day 02

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

While our backend staff is busy making plans for the day ahead, we’d want to take advantage of the opportunity to tour the city and see some historical monuments. We’d go to Swayambunath, a monkey temple, Basantapur Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square on this day.

Day 03

Kathmandu - Pokhara ( 200kms) 06 hours

After breakfast, we depart for Pokhara, Nepal’s most scenic city. Pokhara is 200 kilometers from Kathmandu and is a stunning place with close views of the Annapurna Massif. Around 1-2 p.m., we arrive in Pokhara through a scenic highway built out of lush green hills along with one of the major streams. We freshen up and observe the edge of Fewa Lake after arriving in Pokhara.

Day 04

Pokhara Sightseeing and Zip flyer tour

After breakfast, a member of the Zip Flyer team will pick you up from your hotel and give you an overview of the company. You’ll travel 30 minutes from Pokhara to Sarangkot Hill, where you’ll be treated to a spectacular vista of the Annapurna and Fishtail mountain ranges. If you have to wait for your turn, we guarantee it will be exciting. You’ll sit in a unique harness seat at 2100 meters above sea level and wait for your launch. Two people take off at the same time, and it’s a sprint to the bottom 5,4,3,2,1 and you’re off. As you pass above the lush woodland below, you accelerate to 100 mph. If you keep your eyes open, you’ll get sweeping views of the Annapurna range and beautiful Fishtail Mountain. In the village of Hemja, you’ll land on the Highground triangle. Afternoon sightseeing includes David falls, Seti George, Bindabasini temple, Guptesor cave, and a one-hour boat ride on Fewa Lake. Overnight stay in a hotel At Phewa Lake, we spent an hour boating. Day 05

Pokhara- Kathmandu

We eat breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and leave for Kathmandu. The drive takes about 6 hours, passing through bends in beautiful green hilly country and along major streams, with a few stops for snacks and lunch in between.

Day 06

Departure from Kathmandu

We will assist you in getting to the airport on time for your trip. We say our goodbyes for the time being with a sorrowful heart and anticipation of what we will see in the future.
